Signage on the seashore

Just so folk know that the V plants are working in the background.
Terrible growing conditions but this 'hedge' is now a year old nestled along the high high tide mark.
And it has been buffeted by brutal seas, tides and winds strong enough to rip the land from its  foreshore.
Quire amazing really.
My guess is that the roots go down about half a metre now. That's enough to hold the sandy embankment in place.
Another year of root growth and nothing will shift.
We are finding that each place that Vetiver is planted in, despite being the same section of coastline, presents different challenges. So we are learning from our failures.
