Vetiver roots = Vetiver oil.

A harvest of Vetiver roots. This is the stuff that is distilled to make Vetiver oil. As well as being an 'essential' oil -- with purported health benefits -- Vetiver oil is used in perfumery.
I'm not into harvesting the root mass as it can go down as deep as 2 metres in established plants, but these bags are off cuts from a division.
I'm just gonna play with them with my nose, because:
"Vetiver's scent has a woody earthiness that has made it a favourite since ancient times - and currently it is an important ingredient in around a fifth of all male fragrances. Its smokiness has been likened to incense and cigars."
